Tucker County

The Tucker Community Foundation began with a simple idea: neighbors helping neighbors. After the devastating 1985 flood, the Tucker Community Endowment Foundation was created to support the county’s recovery and future. What started as a single fund dedicated to one place quickly grew as people saw the power of investing in their communities. Today, with over 100 Endowed Funds, our reach extends across seven counties in West Virginia and one in Maryland, providing scholarships, grants, and resources that make a lasting impact.

But no matter how far our work extends, it all starts here. Tucker County remains at the heart of our mission, the center from which support radiates outward. The same generosity that helped rebuild after the flood now fuels opportunities for students, strengthens local nonprofits, and supports projects that keep communities going strong.

When you give, you become part of this story—one of neighbors lifting each other up and investing in the future. Join us in building something that lasts. Become a donor today.
