Program Details

The Youth Action Council unites TCF’s entire service area. With one junior and one senior from every high school across our 10 counties, this is an opportunity to connect with young changemakers in our region. The Council meets once per month, with both Zoom and in-person options available.

The program is focused on youth-led initiatives and experimental learning opportunities for those interested in the nonprofit sector or philanthropy generally. Students identify both needs and strengths in their communities and independently develop programs to address needs and build resilience. With a mock grant cycle and real funding opportunities available for their projects, YAC members are put in the drivers seat to do good work in our area.
