TYPE OF FUND: Field of Interest

DATE ESTABLISHED: December 31, 2017

PURPOSE: To promote the development of the artisan crafts industry in West Virginia.

DISTRIBUTION: Upon the recommendation by the Grants Committee and approval by the entire Board of Directors of Tucker Community Foundation.  The award decision will be based on the project's potential to promote craftwork, enhance the economic viability of the crafts industry, and encourage the use of local materials and artistic techniques for handmade products in West Virginia. The Board may utilize applications and point systems to select the recipients.

VARIANCE POWER: If, in the judgment of the Tucker Community Foundation Board of Directors, the restrictions and conditions of the fund become unnecessary, incapable of fulfillment, or inconsistent with the charitable needs of the community, the Tucker Community Foundation Board of Directors maintains the right to modify the terms of this fund.
