DATE ESTABLISHED: January 2023

PURPOSE: This fund was created for the sole purpose of supporting the Tygart Valley Shrine Club.

DISTRIBUTION: The Foundation will make annual distributions to the Tygart Valley Shrine Club as specified in the Foundation’s general policies and following the fund agreement. However, based on a recommendation from the Tygart Valley Shrine Club's Board of Directors, these distributions may be reinvested into the fund.

Additionally, the Foundation's Board of Directors has the authority to make distributions that exceed the fund's "annual spending policy" to the Tygart Valley Shrine Club in any given year. The governing board of the Tygart Valley Shrine Club may submit written recommendations for such distributions to the Foundation on a periodic basis. While the Foundation is not obligated to follow these recommendations, it should not unreasonably withhold approval for the proposed distributions.

If the Tygart Valley Shrine Club ceases to operate as an organization, the Tucker Community Foundation will allocate the annual distribution of the Tygart Valley Shrine Club’s income as follows: 40% to the Erie, PA, Shrine Hospital, 40% to the Lexington, KY, Shrine Hospital, and 20% to the Osiris Shrine Temple, Wheeling, WV Hospital Fund.

VARIANCE POWER: If, in the judgment of the TCF Board of Directors, the restrictions and conditions of the fund become unnecessary, incapable of fulfillment, or inconsistent with the charitable needs of the community, the TCF Board of Directors maintains the right to modify the terms of this fund.  TCF has exclusive legal control over its assets.
