OUR STORY
In 1985, floodwaters swept through Tucker County, tearing through homes, businesses, and lives. The landscape changed overnight. What came next wasn’t clear.
But something powerful happened in the aftermath. People didn’t wait for help. They became the help. Neighbors showed up for each other because that’s what community means around here.
That spirit of action became the foundation of the Tucker Community Foundation (TCF). A place where anyone—no matter how much or how little they have—can pitch in, give back, and build something stronger than what came before.
More than 35 years later, the same energy fuels everything we do. We help people fund big ideas, support local changemakers, and open doors for those willing to walk through them.
We don’t do this alone, and we wouldn’t want to. The real work happens when students chase their future, nonprofits step up for their neighbors, and communities turn inspiration into action.
We’re just here to make sure they have the tools to do it.
MISSION
Communities grow when people show up for each other. We help them do that by funding local ideas, fueling action, and making sure no one has to do it alone.
VALUES
Community Comes First
People make a place what it is. Strong communities happen when people show up for each other. We back them with funding, resources, and support.
Every Dollar Matters
Money isn’t just money. It’s trust. We put every contribution to work where it makes the biggest impact, today and for the long haul.
We Back The Doers
Change doesn’t start in boardrooms. It starts with people who see a need and step up. We give resources to the people getting things done.
Rooted, But Growing
We started in Tucker County. Now we serve communities across the region. Wherever people are showing up for each other, we’re ready to help.
