Mary L. Davis Memorial Scholarship
The Mary L. Davis Memorial Scholarship, established in 2026, provides a scholarship to a deserving graduating senior from a Randolph Co. high school that has a GPA of 3.0 or higher and is pursuing higher education.
Lawrence & Marion Mace Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Lawrence & Marion Mace Memorial Scholarship, established in 2026, provide scholarships to a Preston or Roane Co. student who is pursuing an education at a Trade School or 2-year accredited Technical School.
Dominion Energy Scholarship Fund
The Dominion Energy Scholarship Fund, established in 2026, provides a scholarship to a student in Grant, Mineral, or Tucker Counties who are continuing their education at a college, university, or vocational-technical school.
Verda Loy Bradford Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Verda Loy Bradford Memorial Scholarship Fund, created in memory of Verda Loy Bradford, provides a scholarship to a female student in Mineral County.
Wayne C. & Mary J. Watring Smith Scholarship Fund
The Wayne C. & Mary J Watring Smith Scholarship Fund, established in memory of Chad Smith, will provide a scholarship to students who are pursuing an education at a Trade School or a 2-year accredited Technical School.
Damien White Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Damien White Memorial Scholarship, established in 2024, supports an Elkins High School Senior planning to pursue a 4-year degree, 2-year degree, or trade school certification.
John & Beulah “Bob” Bartlett Scholarship Fund
The John & Beulah “Bob” Bartlett Scholarship provides a scholarship to a deserving Randolph or Tucker County student.
Myers Family Scholarship Fund
The Myers Family Scholarship Fund, established in 2023 in memory of Walter and Adam Myers, supports a Tucker County student attending Potomac State College. Preference is given to students in Mental Health and Addiction Studies Programs.
Kelley Family Scholarship Fund
The Kelly Family Scholarship, established in 2024, supports a Phillip Barbour High School student with a GPA of 3.0 or above planning to pursue a 4-year degree in Engineering, Education, or Dental Hygiene.
DeVilder Family Scholarship Fund
The DeVilder Family Scholarship Fund, established in 2024, supports a Tucker County High School Graduate who plans to attend a West Virginia College and major in one of the 5 fields of study: Engineering, STEM, Pre-Law, Business, or Agricultural/Veterinary related studies.
Louanna Bava Carr Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Louanna Bava Carr Memorial Scholarship, established in 2024, provides a scholarship to a deserving female athlete at Tucker County High School who is continuing her education in college or trade school.
Davis Health System Foundation Scholarship Fund
The Davis Health System Foundation Scholarship Fund, established in November 2017, provides an annual scholarship to a student pursuing a health care-related field.
Floyd M. & Lenore E. Ball Scholarship Fund
The Floyd M. & Leona E. Ball Scholarship Fund, established in December 2017, provides scholarships for students from Tucker County and Barbour County pursuing higher education.
Lorene Pennington Family Scholarship Fund
The Lorene Pennington Family Scholarship Fund, established in December 2020, provides scholarships to college-bound students from Tucker County, with consideration for students from nearby counties if no qualified applicants are available.
Harry R. & Candy Sommerville Science Scholarship Fund
The Harry R. & Candy B. Sommerville Science Scholarship Fund, established in August 2021, provides a scholarship to a deserving Tucker County student pursuing a degree in science or a related field, with strict exclusions for education or arts majors. If no Tucker County students qualify, applicants from the eight counties served by the Tucker Community Foundation will be considered.
Harry R. & Candy Sommerville Mathematics Scholarship Fund
The Harry R. & Candy B. Sommerville Mathematics Scholarship Fund, established in August 2021, provides a scholarship to a deserving Tucker County student pursuing a degree in mathematics or a related field, with strict exclusions for education or arts majors. If no Tucker County students qualify, applicants from the eight counties served by the Tucker Community Foundation will be considered.
Stadelman Journalism Scholarship Fund
The Stadelman Journalism Scholarship Fund, established in May 2018 by Kelly Stadelman, family, and friends, provides annual scholarships to students from Tucker County and Marshall County pursuing journalism studies, with secondary consideration given to students from these counties attending Marshall University.
Randall H. Alt Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Randall H. Alt Memorial Scholarship Fund, established in May 2017 by his sister Rebecca Lanhardt, provides an annual scholarship for a graduating Petersburg High School senior who has participated in varsity sports and plans to attend a West Virginia school, honoring Randy's love for sports, West Virginia, and education.
Mark Hutchison / David Cosner Scholarship Fund
The Mark Hutchison and David Cosner Scholarship Fund, established in 2015 by family and friends, honors the memory of two local servicemen by providing an annual scholarship to a senior from Randolph Technical Center who exemplifies the values of respect, discipline, honor, responsibility, commitment, and service.
