Friends of the Tucker County Animal Shelter Fund
The Friends of the Tucker County Animal Shelter Fund supports annual projects that enhance the connection between animals and people in Tucker County, WV, ensuring sustainable funding for the shelter’s essential programs.
Gary and Mary Moden Fund
The Gary and Mary Moden Fund, established in August 2021, provides annual funding to the Blackwater Ministerial Association for food pantry needs and to the Mountaintop Public Library for building maintenance, with each organization receiving 50% of the annual distribution.
YouthBuild Fund
The YouthBuild Fund, established in 2019 with donations from supporters and a $2,500 grant from the Tucker Community Foundation, provides financial support for the YouthBuild North Central West Virginia program, which helps young adults gain vocational training, job skills, and leadership development.
The Aurora Project Fund
The Aurora Project Endowment Fund, established in August 2018 with an initial $10,000 donation from two board members and additional public contributions, provides perpetual funding for the Aurora Project’s programs and facilities in Union District, Preston County.
Davis Family Fund of the Davis Health System Foundation
The DHS Foundation Davis Family Fund, established in May 2015 with an initial donation of $34,447 from the Davis Health Systems Foundation, serves as a temporarily endowed fund dedicated to supporting the Davis Health Systems Foundation through annual distributions, with flexibility for reinvestment or additional disbursements as recommended by its governing board.
Randy Poole Memorial Fund
The Robert Andrew "Randy" Poole Memorial Fund, established in 2016 through memorial donations from Timberline Ski Patrol, friends, and family, provides funding for emergency medical training for Tucker County, honoring Randy’s lifelong dedication to emergency care, ski patrol training, and community service.
James D. Phillips Fund
The James D. Phillips St. George Academy Fund, established in 2017 by Alice E. Phillips in memory of her husband, provides grants for the maintenance and benefit of the St. George Academy Historical Property, with the option to fund a history scholarship for a Tucker County graduate if the Academy no longer requires support.
Rose Hill Cemetery Fund
The Rose Hill Cemetery Fund, established in 2017 with the support of Thomas City Council and caretaker Joe Dumire, provides annual grants for the maintenance, upkeep, and beautification of Rose Hill Cemetery in Thomas, WV.
Andy W. Evans Art Fund
The Andy Evans Memorial Fund, established in 2017 by his parents, Kenny and Karen Evans, and his sister, Andrea Evans Stalnaker, honors Andy’s love for drawing by supporting art programs and projects in Tucker County public schools.
Ryan Patrick Gosa Fund
The Ryan Patrick Gosa Fund, established in 2016 by his parents, James (Jake) and Patricia Gosa, provides educational opportunities in the liberal arts for students in Tucker County, WV, honoring Ryan’s love of writing, the arts, and athletics.
Harsh Cemetery Fund
The Harsh Cemetery Preservation Fund, established in 2014 with an initial $2,000 donation from Leeorr Rosier, provides annual grants for the maintenance, upkeep, and beautification of Harsh Cemetery on Clover Run Road.
