Deadline to submit 2k Wellness Award step challenge log sheet and Unsung Hero Award nomination form. These awards are exclusively for registered in-person 2k participants.

Deadline for submission of virtual team photo collages in consideration of the Best Team Photo Collage Award.

Team donation and sponsorship submission deadline.

5:00–7:00 PM - Racer check-in, packet pick-up, and registration at the Davis Fire Hall, 610 William Avenue, Davis, WV 26260.

8:00-9:30 AM - Final race registration at the Davis Fire Hall

Get Involved
You don’t have to be a competitive runner to make a difference. You just have to show up for a good time. Join a team. Become a sponsor. Get in the race. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just soaking in the moment, every step moves something forward.
Register as a Racer
Participants can register for the event either online through the race website or by submitting a hard copy entry form. When registering, it is mandatory to specify the team or cause you are supporting. Half of the entry fee will be donated to your chosen cause.
Race Virtually
Participate in Run For It even if you’re not in Davis, WV! You can register for one of our virtual events and walk or run wherever you are while supporting non-profit organizations and charities in the communities that the Tucker Community Foundation serves. Once your team has registered, you can schedule your virtual walk or run any time, as long as it is completed by race day. When your virtual race is complete, you can post your results on the race website.
Sponsor a Team
Individuals, groups, and businesses can choose to support one or more teams. Team sponsors may support their own team and/or other teams as well. Team sponsors can donate any amount to any number of causes by either donating online through the race website or by submitting a hard copy donation coupon. 100% of sponsor donations support the team’s cause.
Sponsor the Race
The Run For It event is supported by individuals, groups, and businesses. The Foundation provides the initial funds for the race awards purse. The race sponsors then add to these funds, resulting in larger cash prizes for teams. The team or cause that wins the awards receive 100% of the cash prices.
Donate
Fundraising is not required for racers. However, personal fundraising pages are automatically created for all participants. 100% of the proceeds are awarded as cash prizes for teams across numerous award categories. Donations given will be reflected on the participant’s and team’s fundraising pages on RunSignUp.com. If you would like to donate to a team, visit the race website.
