Dogs are permitted on the race course; however, participants with dogs must line up at the back of the starting line for the safety of their pets and other participants.

Q: How am I timed?
A: The Run For It timing system is provided by AP Timing. All 5k race participants will receive a bib with the timing chip affixed to the back. The participant is not required to activate the timing chip. Please ensure the following to receive an accurate time:

  • Race bib is clearly visible on the front of the torso.

  • Race bib is unaltered and unmodified (do not fold or wrinkle)

  • Race bib is pinned on the top two corners.

  • Race bibs are not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.).

All 2k walk participants will receive a bib, but the 2k bibs will not have a timing chip attached, as the 2k event is not timed.

Q: Can I run in the 2k walk?
A: No. The 2k walk is untimed, walking only. Running in the 2k walk is prohibited.

Q: Can I transfer events on race day?
A: If you are registered for the 2k walk, you cannot transfer to the 5k run/walk on race day. Switching from the 2k walk to the 5k run/walk on race day is prohibited.

If you are registered for the 5k run/walk, you may transfer to the 2k walk on race day, but you must notify event staff immediately so your registration can be updated in the system and your bib chip can be deactivated.
