Pendleton County Fast Start Fund
The Pendleton County Fast Start Fund, established in 2026, provides match funding to help organizations establish their own fund with the Tucker Community Foundation.

PURPOSE: To provide match funding to help organizations in Pendleton County establish new funds with the Tucker Community Foundation that will benefit the citizens of Pendleton County.
DISTRIBUTION: Distribution is by written request from the Pendleton County Community Foundation. The Pendleton County Community Foundation, through their county representative, will notify TCF when organizations want to start a new fund and how much they will match out of this fund. Any year that the Pendleton County Community Foundation does not request a match, that money will be put back into the fund to increase the return for the year.
FUNDING: The Pendleton County Community Foundation of Franklin, WV established the fund in the amount of $5,000, with other donations coming from the local citizens and organizations of Pendleton County. The Tucker Community Foundation matched the first $5,000 as part of the Community Fund Match Program.
BACKGROUND: The Pendleton County Community Foundation is joining the Tucker Community Foundation in the creation of three funds that TCF will manage and distribute. These are the first funds specifically for Pendleton County and are as follows: the Pendleton Community Fund, the Pendleton County Emergency Services Fund, and the Pendleton County Fast Start Fund.
