National Bank of Davis Fund

The National Bank of Davis Fund supports recreational projects in the town of Davis, West Virginia, continuing the legacy of a longstanding community institution.

TYPE OF FUND: Field of Interest

DATE ESTABLISHED: Initiated March 1997, Established September 17, 1997

PURPOSE: To provide funding for recreational projects in the town of Davis.

DISTRIBUTION: Upon the recommendation by the Grants Committee and approval by the full Board of Directors of TCF.

VARIANCE POWER: If, in the judgment of the TCF Board of Directors, the restrictions and conditions of the fund become unnecessary, incapable of fulfillment or inconsistent with the charitable needs of the community, the TCF Board of Directors maintains the right to modify the terms of this fund.

FUNDING: $5,000 from the board of directors of the former National Bank of Davis. In 2005, the bank was sold to Grant County Bank and is now known as the Davis Branch of Grant County Bank.
